理事長挨拶

日本臨床視覚電気生理学会（JSCEV）は、1960年に「臨床ERG班」として発足して以来、65年以上の歴史を持つ伝統ある学術団体です。日本眼科学会の関連学会の1つであり、また国際臨床視覚電気生理学会（ISCEV）の日本支部でもあります。
網膜電図（ERG）や視覚誘発電位（VEP）などの電気生理学的検査は、眼科において視機能を他覚的に計測し、疾患の診断や治療効果の評価を行う方法として広く使用されています。JSCEVは、眼科におけるこのような臨床的な電気生理学的検査の新たな手法の開発や臨床応用に関して研究を推進する学術団体であり、年に１回学術集会を開催しています。
JSCEVは、視覚電気生理学そのものの研究のみならず、眼科診断学、遺伝学的検査、眼底画像診断、動物モデルなどの領域と連携しながらこれからもさらに発展を続けてまいります。興味のある方は、どうぞ会員に登録して、学術総会にご参加ください。

Message from the President

The Japanese Society of Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision (JSCEV) is a long-established academic organization with a history spanning over 65 years. It was founded in 1960 as the "Clinical ERG Group" and is one of the affiliated societies of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society, as well as a Japanese branch of the International Society of Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision (ISCEV).
JSCEV promotes research focused on the development and clinical application of new methods in electrophysiological testing for ophthalmology. The society also organizes an annual scientific meeting to foster further academic exchange.
Looking ahead, JSCEV aims to advance not only research in visual electrophysiology but also collaboration with related fields such as ophthalmic diagnostics, genetic testing, fundus imaging, and animal models. If you are interested, we invite you to register as a member and participate in our Annual Meeting.
