来る2022年7月30日（土）、昨年に引き続きインターナショナルWebライブである、Tokyo Endovascular Challenging Conference Asia Pacific（TECC AP）を開催させて頂きます。
今回は、前回も中継を行った東京ベイ・浦安市川医療センター、Changi General Hospital（シンガポール）に加えて、タイのMaharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospitalからも中継を行い、世界初の3カ国中継でのWebライブにチャレンジさせて頂きます。
COVID-19によるパンデミックの始まりからもう3年が経過し、オンラインの学会は当たり前のものとなりました。そして今、少しずつではありますが、完全オンサイトの学会も開催されるようになり、両者の棲み分けをどう行っていくのかが課題となってきています。Webの利便性に慣れた参加者を、どう会場に取り戻すのかは、大きな課題が残ります。学会や研究会のありかたを見直すターニングポイントなのだろうと感じています。その中で、我々TECCは、当初からのオンラインの良さを活かすにはどうしたら良いかをさらに突き詰めていきます。時間と空間の制限がないWebだからこそ、海外との繋がり、海外への発信力を低予算で強化することができます。多様性のある治療を学び、グローバルマインドを持った深い議論を行い、Asia Pacific圏の先生方に、有意義な学びの場を提供できればと思います。
今回は、東京ベイ・浦安市川医療センターから2例、Steven Kum先生のChangi General Hospitalから2例、そしてVeera Suvanruangsri先生のMaharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospitalから1例の症例を中継します。保険制度の違い、言語・文化の差からくる治療戦略の差異などがありますが、このような多様性の中で行われる議論の中にこそ、真実があるのだと思います。日本からアジアへ、アジアから世界へ発信する歩みを、今年も一歩ずつ進めていきたいと思います。
On Saturday, July 30, 2022, Tokyo Endovascular Challenging Conference Asia Pacific (TECC AP), an international web live demonstration will take place.
This year, in addition to Tokyo Bay Urayasu Ichikawa Medical Center (Japan) and Changi General Hospital (Singapore), we will broadcast from Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital (Thailand). This will be world’s first live webcast from 3 countries at the same time.
After three years has past under the COVID-19 pandemic, online conferences became commonplace. However some meetings are getting back onsite, and we now have both styles of learning. As one of the most early web-only live demonstrations, TECC will continue to further explore the advantages of the online format. Because the Internet is not bound by time or space, we can strengthen our connections with our international colleagues and increase our ability to communicate. We hope to provide a meaningful learning opportunity for doctors in the Asia Pacific region by sharing various styles of treatments and having deep discussions with a global mindset.
This time, we will relay 2 cases from Tokyo Bay Urayasu Ichikawa Medical Center (Dr. Tatsuya Nakama), 2 cases from Changi General Hospital (Dr. Steven Kum), and 1 case from Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital (Dr. Veera Suvanruangsri). There are differences in insurance systems and treatment strategies as well as differences in language and culture, but we believe that the truth lies in the discussions that take place among such diversity. We would like to continue to make steps forward this year to transmit information from Japan to Asia and from Asia to the world.
